For ten years I owned and operated a retail store called Onward-Bound, selling women's and children's sportswear and accessories. It was fun and I met some wonderful people, surrounded by bright colors and living by the motto "It feels good to look great".

I was married in the middle of it and then the kids started coming, and coming, until it was time to close the shop and stay at home with my four young children. Never one to sit down and just "be," I started baking whenever I found a chance, and then friends would ask for my recipes and for more and I finally realized this was the next path for me to take.

So here is the result, homestyle baked goods inspired by my four "real" flowers: my children. They are my inspiration and joy and bring me much happiness--

as I hope a bite of a Four Flours baked good will bring to you too.
